General Questions

Do I need to be home for the cleaning appointment?

You do not need to be home. Many of our clients prefer to leave a key hidden or have us enter via a door/garage code. Others prefer to be home while we work. Either way, we’ll accommodate to your preference!

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Yes! We bring all of our own cleaning supplies and equipment. Please let us know if you have specific products you’d prefer to provide, we are happy to use them in lieu of our own

When is payment due and how do I pay?

Payment is due after the cleaning is completed. We accept debit or credit card for payment. We’ll email you an invoice after each cleaning where you’ll be able to pay by Card, ACH or Apple Pay. If you would like to set up Auto Pay, please give us a call at 616-324-0164 and our office staff can set that up for you! We do not accept cash or check.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a 2 day (48 hour) notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We do charge a $40 cancellation fee if your cleaning is canceled without providing a 2 day notice.

Late cancellations lead to an underpaid staff which is why we have to charge this fee in order to cover your cleaner’s pay for the missed appointment.

What is your tipping policy?

Tips are always appreciated, but are not required. You can tip your cleaner in cash, or simply add the tip to the invoice when making payment. From our experience, customers tend to leave a $20-$40 tip for our cleaners when they feel that the service is excellent.

Do I need to sign a contract for recurring cleanings?

Nope! No contracts or reschedule fees as long as you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment. Because we reserve your cleaning spot especially for you, if you do have to cancel without a 48 hour notice, we do charge a $40 cancellation fee.

The Cleaning

How do I prepare my home for my cleaning?

Please clear surfaces of clutter so we can access them for cleaning. We do pick up small items and knick knacks here and there but excessive clutter will not be cleaned around. Please make sure your toilet brushes are near the toilet. We use your toilet brush for sanitary purposes. Our team works well with pets! However, if you think they will pose a danger or a distraction to our cleaners please make sure they are safely secured in a crate or another room during the cleaning.

How many cleaners do you send?

You’ll be paired with one of our solo technicians for recurring cleanings. On the first visit we usually send out a supervisor with your regular cleaner to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Do you move furniture to clean under?

We do not move or pick up heavy items and furniture such as beds, couches, large appliances, nightstands etc. but we will clean under them if there is enough space for our vacuum.

What extra services do you offer?

We offer cleaning kitchen cabinet exteriors, dusting baseboards, and cleaning interior windows as extra services that can be added on top of your regular service.

Please note, cleaning kitchen cabinet exteriors and dusting baseboards are already included in a deep cleaning but can be added to a standard cleaning.

My Appointment

Do we get the same technician every time?

We do not rotate cleaners and try our best to pair you with the same cleaning tech on every visit. However, we do have scheduling changes from time to time and may need to change your cleaning technician.

Can I give you a spare key?

As policy we do not hold on to customer keys. We suggest either hiding a key for us or giving us a door/garage code to enter the home if necessary.

Will I receive a call or text before the cleaner arrives?

Yes! You will receive an automated text when your cleaner is on their way and when they arrive.

Why is there an arrival window?

When you book your cleaning with us, you’ll be given an estimated time window of when your cleaner will arrive. Cleaning times can be unpredictable which is why we provide arrival windows instead of exact arrival times.

How does scheduling work for recurring services?

If you are booking a recurring cleaning with us, your cleaning will repeat on the same day of the week every week, every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks depending on the frequency you chose. The arrival window will also be the same on every appointment.

This allows for an easy and consistent schedule. If you ever forget when the next cleaning is, we always send out email and text reminders 4 days and 1 day before your scheduled cleaning!
